2010 Joint Effort Basketball Classic Awards

DENVER—Joint Effort Prime Time Hoops announced today the recipients of the Joint Effort Colorado Basketball Awards for 2010.  The annual Joint Effort Colorado Basketball Awards will be presented on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at East High School as a part of the Joint Effort Colorado basketball Classic and Western Regional Tournament scheduled for April 5-10, 2010.  The 2010 Chauncey Billups Colorado Players of the Year are Joe Ptasinski (Regis High School) and Shae Kelly (Denver East High School).

In addition, Joint Effort will recognize the Colorado and DPL Coaches of the Year, DPL Player of the Year, and a special recognition of the Colorado Girls 5A State Champions, Denver East Girls Basketball Team and also of Coach Rudy Carey, DPL’s winningest All-Time Coach.  There will also be Community Service Awards to outstanding citizens who have contributed to youth programs in the Denver Metro Area.

Further, the Joint Effort Basketball Classic will include games for Colorado’s Top Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors, youth games for boys and girls, a slam dunk contest, three-point. shoot-out, college coaches and much, much more.
